Student Pass holders and their dependents will be issued a Multiple Entry Visa (MEV) to facilitate their travel between Malaysia and their home country during the duration of their study.
Single Entry Visa – Valid up to 3 months and can stay up to 30 days maximum after the entry.
Multiple Entry Visa – Validity can be from 1 month to 1 year. In a single entry can stay up to 30 days.
Before applying for a Malaysia University Student Parent – Multiple Entry Visa, it is important to fulfil the entry requirements for the visa. The following information must be submitted by the applicants:
The passport must have a validity of seven (7) months or more on the expected date of arrival in Malaysia
Recent Passport Photo with white background
Return flight ticket /itinerary (Maximum 30 days stay in Malaysia)
Accommodation details in Malaysia (Hotel or Tenant agreement)
Employment confirmation or Business registration in both Sinhala and English if self employed
Student passport front page, student valid visa page and copy of the birth registration- original and translation
Latest 3 months bank statements (Bank balance should be minimum LKR 350,000/- per person)
Typed letter from applicant requesting multiple visa with mention schedule of the visit to Malaysia (visa request letter)
Copy of Marriage Registration – original and translation
